Waihola couldn’t have put on better weather for the family day that the Society held on the 28th November. The sun shone hot and bright and everyone breathed a collective sigh of relief (not that we were worried mind you!) So many people enjoyed their wetland experience by air and by boat. My sincere thanks to all the boat skippers, crew and helpers on the day who made the day a really great experience for our visitors and community. The wetlands and the lake really sparkled on Sunday, and so did many people’s faces after sharing a unique experience with us. Here are a selection of pictures from the day. Thanks everybody!
